The Parrot - From Perek Shira

The Hebrew word "agur" can mean either parrot or crane, depending on the context in which it is used. Parrots are unusual among birds in that they adapt and mimic their song, and have the ability even to impersonate human speech. They use their vocal abilities to the maximum range of their potential, reminding us that we, too, must use all of our gifts to praise the One who granted them to us.

The Parrot is saying:
"Give thanks to God with the lyre, make music for Him with the ten-stringed harp."
      - Psalms 33:2

Perek Shira is the song that is sung every day by God's creations, each creation having its own song. Please see this category's section page for more of an explanation
