The Wild Animals of the Field
The Giraffe - From Perek Shira

The wild animals of the field, including giraffes, zebras, moose, wolves, monkeys and others are in constant danger from natural predators as well as human encroachment and habitat destruction. Yet God helps them survive and adapt. This blessing is recited when one receives an important gift or wonderful news, such as the birth of a child. In the Grace After Meals, Birkat HaMazon, this is the fourth blessing, and we express our gratitude for the gift of sustenance.

The Giraffe
The Wild Animals of the field are saying, "Blessed is the One who is good and bestows good."
      - Talmud, Berachot 48b

Perek Shira is the song that is sung every day by God's creations, each creation having its own song. Please see this category's section page for more of an explanation.
